MUYIA Productions, is an art production company with its heart and soul set on ecological and social issues.

The company specializes in film, photography and immersive art projects.

μούγια [mu-yi-a] is a Cypriot word for the insect, 'fly'. The name for the company was influenced by Raul Seixa's song 'Mosca na sopa' (Fly in your soup), written in the 1970s against the military dictatorship in Brazil.

MUYIA is founded by filmmaker and artist, Artemis Evlogimenou.

Her practice is driven by lifelong fascinations with nature, sound, and anthropology. The ocean plays a big role in Artemis's life and work, inspiring her to become an HSE Commercial Diver for filming underwater and to earn a diploma in Marine Biology.
